When should I visit Iran? One of the most popular question that many travelers ask Adventure Iran is: WHEN IS BEST TIME TO TRAVEL IRAN? The question has no short answer and here we’ve answered in full detail. The first important thing you should know is that Iran is a country with a wide range of climate and weather systems. The country is located near the southern part of the Caspian Sea in the northern borders and in the southern parts, near the Persian Gulf and Makran Sea which is connected to Indian Oceans. You can travel all year round in it, depending on the activity and the regions you would like to explore. Cultural and Historical visit For those who would like to visit Iran’s main touristy sites on the famous IRAN CLASSIC ROUTE, spring and autumn are the seasons to get there. Iran has hot summers and cold winters which are not good travel times to explore ONLY the main Iran’s UNESCO sites. 21th of March is the Persian New Year which is the first day of the year (1st Farvardin). Most Iranians start their holidays a few days before the New Year and this long holiday lasts till the 4-5th of April. During this time most of the hotels in the country will be occupied by domestic travelers and finding a proper accommodation is not easy. Also the main roads will be full of cars and in the touristic destinations, you will encounter a crowded site with busy streets leading to it. Alongside of that, the restaurants are busy and you have to reserve your seat in advance for a good restaurant. It would be a good idea to arrive in Iran after April 5th. The weather will be very good till the end of May

Ultra Trail Mount Damavand The video is made of the highlights of our two races in the Junes of 2017 and 2018 . The race was an ultra-trail running through Iran’s famous national park of Lar towards Damavand Mountain which is the highest peak in Iran. Lar is a protected area located in the south west of Damavand and it’s managed by Iran Environmental Organization and needs a permit for entering. It was an international race and people joined us from different countries. The trip starts from Tehran and finishes in Tehran as well. The group slept one night inside the park and a night in the Damavand shelter in the base camp which is located at the south face of Damavand nearby Polour village. It was a combination of running and adventuring in Iran during a three days race. The runners carried a small bag with all of their requirements for the three days and with crossing Lar reveres, passing through the nomadic region of the valley and seeing the local with goats and sheep, hiking in a canyon, sleeping in the nature in the park and the spectacular view of Mt Damavand they were very pleased by the whole thing. We had a big crew to handle and support this event and we have actually created a special website for this event and for more information about our future races please check this link Hope you enjoy the video and if you like it subscribe to our channel to see more of the beauty of our country. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cq6vTmMu2TI
