Mountain Bike Rentals

Adventure Iran offers different types of Full Suspension and Hardtail mountain bikes for rent. We have all sizes of bicycles from extra small (XS) up to extra-large (XL) for our Hardtail Bikes. For Full Suspension mountain bikes, we offer a range from medium (M) to extra-large (XL) size.

The bikes have Shimano Bike Components with different series of Alivio, Deore and XT. Most of them have disc brake systems. Rim brake systems are available for our long desert cycling tours; useful for protection of the brake system from desert sand.

The brands are Giant, Specialized and Intense. The following equipment we include for free: different sized helmets, gloves, flat tire kits and a mini portable bicycle pump. We have a large inventory of bikes, so the chances are good that you will get the correct sized bike.

Spare Parts Equipment:

We stock tires and inner tubes, for 26″, 27.5″ and 29 Inch wheel base. Other spare parts include pedals, chains, saddles, brake wires, bicycle panniers for road cycling and so on. If you bring your own bikes, all of the above parts are available for rent.

After every use the bikes are thoroughly washed and checked and fine-tuned by our expert in-house bike mechanic. We are capable of assembling any bike. Before a new rental the bikes are checked and field tested by our expert riders.

The bicycles and other relevant equipment are stored and maintained at our storage and repairs facility in the town of Lavasan located at the foothills of central Alborz Mountains, roughly 30km from central Tehran. We can deliver bikes to any location in Tehran. You just need to give us prior notice and there will be a moderate delivery charge for the service.

Please note that our location is ideal for daily excursions into the surrounding hills. There are nice trails close by ranging from easy level on graded backroads, to moderate dirt roads up to challenging and technical single and downhill tracks in the Northern Tehran in central Alborz Mountains which can be accessed literally from outside of the office front door.

Brief pointer on where Adventure Iran office in Lavasaan is situated and why it is an excellent starting point for mountain bikers: We are located in north east of Tehran surrounded by numerous 3000 meter peaks. This gives biking enthusiasts several options. You can obviously do full single day trips, or plan to camp one night in a suitable location and ascend one of the peaks and descend using single tracks for the second day. There are also multi-day trip options available.

If you prefer organized tours with guides, we offer several tours for all abilities and duration. From one day trips up to 3-4 day tours which penetrate deep into the mountains. If you book a tour with us, we offer bike rentals at half price.
