Adventure Iran is a brand name of Caravan Kooch Adventure Travel, doing business since 2006. Caravan Kooch is a fully licensed tour operator under the Iranian Government’s Ministry of Tourism strict licensing guidelines and requirements. The License Number is 982/126/476

The company is an active member of ITOA (Iran Tour Operators Association – membership #168 www.itoa.ir) which is the main governing body and trade association in the industry.

The company is currently working with a number of important foreign tour operators as strictly a DMC (Destination Management Company) taking care of  their ground handling operations in the country.

Adventure Iran was the first Iranian member of ATTA (Adventure Travel Trade Association). We are in partnership with a variety of tour operators around the globe collaborating in planning detailed trips dealing with their clients’ interests and requirements.

Currently we are mentioned in many guidebooks. We are present in Lonely Planet (page 338) in the “outdoor and adventure agencies” section.  In addition, we are in Bradt Guidebook (page 44). In German we are in Trescher Verlag Guidebook and the French Petite Futé (page 30). Furthermore, we are represented in Lonely Planet’s special edition book entitled “Lonely Planet’s Atlas of Adventure”.

We have been in the news: There are 2 articles from The Guardian newspaper (web & paper editions): “Ten Ideas for an adventurous holiday in Iran” (2015). The next is from 2019: “Ten of the best active worldwide holidays.”
