Iran’s new Minister of Tourism announced on 28 September 2021, World Tourism Day, that the restrictions for travelling to Iran will be lifted very soon. Visas will be issued for travellers starting next month. Since March 2020, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all of Iran’s borders were closed to the world.
