Latest report confirms that there are 530 registered bird species in Iran and that makes Iran of the most astonishing place for birding. This huge kind of habitat diversity is a good reason for this land (Iran) to have so many different kinds of species such as Caucasian Grouse, Purple Sunbird, Syrian Woodpecker, Sind Woodpecker, Caspian Tern, Lesser Crested Tern in several variety of weather condition.
Yet Iran with its endemic Pleske’s Ground Jay and important birds like White-throated Robin, Dalmatian Pelican, Caspian Snowcock, Marbled Duck, Caspian Tit and the migration corridor of birds of prey is the best place for birding in the whole region.
