New Requirements to Enter Iran

(April 2022)

As of April 7th, Iran entry requirements during Covid rules and regulations have been changed. For the last 2 months, no PCR test was required for entering Iran but as of now, the new Rules require a PCR test done within 72 hours before your flight for all individuals above the age of 12. A vaccination card is needed to enter the country as well. Please keep in mind that at least 15 days must have passed from your second dose. Iran entry requirements during Covid do not include proof of any booster shots.

 

So the requirements are as bellow:

  • All travelers over the age of 12 must provide a negative PCR test, conducted within 72 hours before arrival.

  • A vaccination card as proof for the first double doses. (At least 2 weeks must have passed from your second dose)
