This package covers 350 km biking in central Iran mostly in desert areas plus visiting two main touristic cities of Esfahan and Yazd. There are two world heritage sites in Esfahan and lots of interesting attractions in Yazd. The biking route is part of ancient Silk Road disconnecting you from daily life by taking you to the remote areas. We will come across various mountain slopes, dried-up rivers as well as the magical desert with its different colors and formations. The biking route in this itinerary is a mixture of paved and dirt roads. The journey is led by professional crews and supported by vehicles. An English speaking MTB guide will be with the group during biking activity in the field. The tour will start from Esfahan with a short sightseeing of the city. A biking loop will take us to Yazd, after visiting this ancient city we will cycle back to Esfahan to complete the circle. There will be 7 days of biking between two cities. The main part of the route is flat but sometimes for having the best view and visibility we will go up the sand dunes in the desert. There is the possibility of seeing wild life such as camels, rabbits, foxes and so on.

Day 1: Arrival to Esfahan International Airport

Transfer to Kuhpayeh town, check into the caravanserai. (-,-,-)

Day 2: Exploring Isfahan

After an early morning breakfast we will begin a full day city tour of Isfahan.In the afternoon,We will return to the hotel and rest. Overnight stay at hotel in Isfahan. (B, L, D)

Day 3: Drive to the central desert

After checking out from the hotel we will drive for 4 hours, 375km, into the desert to the starting point of our biking.. In the evening you will have a session with your mountain bike guide to discuss the biking route, get a short briefing on any necessary information, checking your equipment and have a group discussion about the journey. Overnight stay in traditional guest house. (B, L, D).

we will drive to central desert and from there we have 7 days biking via Dasht-E-Kavir. We will cover approximately 350 kilometers with MTB which is a combination of dirt and asphalt road. We will cross through small towns, villages and hidden oasis through off the beaten path. In the nature we will see the sand dune, small mountains, palm trees, spring waters, salt lake, underground water reservoir, dry-salty river, semi wild camels and if we will be lucky we can see other animals. Also, we will see historical cattle, Zoroastrian fire temple, caravanserais and the local people in on the way. The cycling will finish in south on Dasht-E-Kavir somewhere around Yazd. (B, L, D)

Day 11: Yazd city tour

After breakfast you will have a full day sightseeing tour in Yazd visiting most touristic attractions. We stay one more night in the traditional hotel in Yazd. (B)

Day 12: Drive to Isfahan via spots

Drive to Esfahan and on the way will see Meybod and Naiin historical towns. Overnight stay in the caravanserai. (B)

Day 13: Departure

Today according to your flight time we will send you to Isfahan Airport to fly back home.
