This tour is a suitable for who would like to have a desert detour journey from Esfahan to Yazd or vise versa with 4×4 through Iran central desert (Dashte- Kavir). There are a lot of attractions in Dashte-e Kavir and most of travellers missed it when they travel with sedan or mini bus. 4WD cars enable us to drive in remote area in the heart of the desert and you can explore unknown and Non- touristic area during three days. This is a short and tight travel plan and will cover the most spots on the way. During this tour we will see many oases ( Farahzad, Aroosan, Koreh gaz and Garmeh oasis), villages (Kharanagh, Bayazeh, Iraj and Mesr ) and small towns (Naiin and Anarak) en route between Esfahan and Yazd in Dashte-e Kavir. On this 4×4 tour approximately we have 1000 km driving, which is on the asphalt and dirt road in the desert. In the desert we have sand formation, flat desert and the salt lake which is amazing for who love photography and nature. This tour has no fixed departure date but will be performed at your request.
The tour could start from two different origins, Esfahan or Yazd by 4×4 car. Then, according to your plan you have the option to continue to Esfahan or Yazd depending on your own travel plan. If you would like to start this trip from Tehran, we can customize it and you have to start it a day before and staying one night in a caravanserai in the edge of the desert.

Day 1: Drive to Central desert

The journey will start from Tehran before breakfast around 5 am. We have long day driving, which is taking 6 hours to reach the starting point of off roading (650 km). We have picnic breakfast and lunch on the way and also we have a short stop in Naiin and Anarak towns for a short visit and photography. After having lunch on the way you will continue the road toward the desert. Off to the sand dunes and we have stop on the spot for photography and rest. Kick the road and continue off road driving in the desert towards the viewpoint for the sunset. After having photography, we drive towards Farahzad oasis via the sand dunes. We will proceed in the evening to Farahzad oasis where we will spend the night in a local house enjoying a friendly and family style hospitality for the evening. We have a traditional dinner in the guest house. Overnight stay in the guest house. (B, L, D)

Day 2: The Sand dune & Mountain Formations

After breakfast we have a couple of hours to walk around the oasis a photography. Afterward will start off-road driving from the oasis towards sand dunes and hills. You can and stop at some points on the way for photography and short walks. We will give you plenty of time to wander around and enjoy this special place. We will pass beautiful different landscapes. We will have lunch in the desert and continue off road driving till the late afternoon. Overnight in the local house/ camp in the desert. (B, L, D)

Day 3: Drive from the oasis to Esfahan, Yazd or Tehran

Today, we have long day driving to the Capital, which is taking 7-8 hours (700 km) so we have short time to stop on the road. After breakfast in the oasis we will continue dirt road drinving in the desert. We will visit the remains of the desert landscape you have to see with different formation. After stopping for walking and photography, we will drive to Anark town. We have to stop there for visiting the towers and the old part of the town. Following Anarak, we will leave for Tehran. We will be there around evening. (B, L)
