- Climb Mount Damavand and ski down
- 3 full days of trekking through the desert with camel caravan
- Complete coverage of the cities of Esfahan and Yazd
- Passage through desert Oasis, Zoroastrian sacred sites and 1500 year old castle
A truly epic journey consisting of at least 3 separate parts: First there is the matter of climbing Iran’s highest peak and then skiing down to double the fun. Then there is a 3 day desert trek with camels joining us for the duration. The last part is a cultural and historical whirlwind covering Iran’s 2 most important cities and a slew of lesser known towns, oasis villages, sacred sites and other wonders around the deserts of Iran.
The second part of trip is a unique and very exotic trip through some of the most interesting parts of the Iranian desert accompanied by a true historical anomaly. One of the last remaining camel handlers and caravan organizers left in Iran who still keeps and maintains camels. Part of the trip crosses the old and genuine Silk Road. The path crosses sand dunes, desert mountains, salt plains, oasis villages with date palm trees and ancient water storage facilities.
This journey is completed by visiting the famous cities of Esfahan and Yazd but in addition we will also visit the equally important but lesser known town of Meybod plus a few surprises along the way.
