When he was a child, he went out with a geologist to a mountain. She could name different types of soils and rocks around them and told him stories about how they formed. As they depart, he got this idea that you can read nature that surrounds you. Having that in mind, a series of encounters made him curious about medicinal plants, and eventually, he started tasting, studying, exploring and making infusions out of herbs and plants around him. Later on, he dived into the world of tea and deepened his knowledge about all types of high-quality teas and its craft.
