Trip Notes

  • Deviating from this itinerary is unpreventable sometimes due to weather conditions, seasonal changes, frequency of visits to a village or for any other factor which may influence our travel times and schedules. Furthermore, this is the tight itinerary and sometimes we must skip a place or two depending on the season. During the winter an autumn season’s sun light will be scares; this will affect the number of places you will be able to explore during the day.
  • During the spring time (from Mid-March to end of May) we might experience rain and wind in the desert so you should be prepared for occasional rains and winds.

This tour has been designed for people wishing to have a combination of desert trekking and one day off in the desert.

On this trip, you have an opportunity to touch the stars in the clear sky or watch the mysterious moon in the silence. A chance to watch the astonishing view of sunset without any human made hurdle. A possibility to see wild camels pacing on the sand dunes. On this tour one can taste local foods and associate with aboriginal people. The accommodation is a cozy guest house (Garmeh or Farahzad) that would give you the feeling of staying at your own home. Depending of the season and daylight you will see a couple of sites on the way from the desert to Yazd at the end of the tour. Visiting dry salt Lake, Mesr and Farahzaad oasis in the heart of the desert and travelling to a viewpoint for watching sunset. If you wake up in the early morning, you will have the chance to watch the desert’s amazing sunrise as well.

The first day journey will start at 5 am from Esfahan or Yazd by private car depending where you are to the oasis and will finish in Yazd. When you arrived in the oasis you will start your trekking to heart of the desert and we will make a camp there and making a fire. One the day two, we will collect the camp you will continue trekking for a few hours before noon. We will back to the oasis and we having lunch there. For the rest of the day you are free in the oasis and rest, enjoying the silent of the desert. On the day three around noon you will countie you journey towards Yazd historical city.

If you are a tough trekker or or would like to have a longer desert trekking with more challenge, please see our other desert tours like Alfons Gabriel Trek (4 days) or Sven Hedin expedition trekking(7 days).
